President and Chief Ninja
Julie VissersJulie received a BBA (Honors) in International Business from the University of Georgia where she had the opportunity to study abroad in France and the Netherlands. She is fluent in French and English. Her very first job out of college was with Disney at the Contemporary Resort in Orlando, where she learned the importance of providing excellent customer service. She was also involved with training staff for EuroDisney. In 1991, she completed an MBA at the University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario, Canada. After completing her MBA, she went to work for CP Hotels (now Fairmont) in Vancouver, BC Canada at an upscale conference hotel. She partnered with other hotels and the Convention Center on many large-scale (up to 5000 person) citywide conventions. It was during this period that she learned the importance of collaboration between industry, clients and government to create spectacular conference experiences. In 1998, she switched to the client side of the meetings industry as an Executive Director of a Medical Education Company. Julie developed Well-Assembled Meetings as an independent meeting management company focused on Medical Education. Last year Well-Assembled Meetings produced over 40 conferences across the United States for over 4000 attendees.
Peyten received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Process Management from Abilene Christian University, where she also competed for their division I volleyball team. After undergrad, she transferred to the University of Montana to carry out her extra year of NCAA eligibility in volleyball. Peyten graduated with two masters and played two seasons for the Griz. She completed her Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Administration at the University of Montana. Peyten was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and is currently located in Dallas, Texas. She brings in years of customer service experience, along with detailed organization and management skills.

Jennifer loves being a part of the WAM Team! And you will love having her on your team. She truly enjoys making each client, vendor, physician feel as though if it is important to them, it is truly important to her.
Her strong leadership abilities, outstanding communication and experience in crafting strong partnerships and friendships within the medical industry are just a few of the things that make her special. Jennifer is high energy, competitive, and achievement driven. She has over 10 years experience planning, coordinating and managing logistics for both small and large conferences/meetings/events. She is also responsible for securing sponsorships/fundraising and managing relationships to provide beneficial outcomes for her client.
She earned her BS degree in Business at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her three “young adult” children, travel, play golf, run, yoga and hike with her Golden Retriever, Brady. Born and raised in Boston, MA she is a true Red Sox, Bruins and Pats fan! Oh, and she’s “Boston Strong”!
Marketing and Technology Ninja / VP Operations
Experienced Leader in IT, Online and Operations Management. As an agent of change I use my ability and experience to look forward and lead organisations to solid cost reductions and process improvements. MJ joined the WAM team in 2015. His technical and operations background offers our clients specialized solutions in Audio Visual, Online, Marketing and Project Management. He is PMP certified (Project Management Professional / the Project Management Institute) and has 25 years experience in Information Technology, Project Management, Operations, Advertising and Online operations. His abilities to work on multiple priorities have been instrumental in the success of WAM. MJ has recently relocated from Charleston South Carolina and is now based in Southern Ohio. He lives on a working farm with his wife, dogs, cats, cows, goats and chickens.
Event Ninja / Director of Conference Services
Jennifer Gaffney is our one and only “Jersey girl” who has an amazing ability to go above and beyond for our clients. She is the one that gets the job done! She received her BA in Economics at Emory University and spent most of her career working in Finance and Research. Her amazing organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects brought her to become a WAM team member. When she’s not “assembling” meetings, she enjoys spending time with her twin daughters and yellow lab, Linden. She appreciates all that the PNW has to offer including skiing, hiking and traveling.

Ginia is Southern through and through, which is persistently demonstrated through her enthusiastic, creative and passionate approach to the business. She is zealously detailed-oriented and the member of the team who will make sure every aspect of your meeting is covered. She’s been working with the company since the beginning and is our lead designer whether it be logo’s brochures or websites. She has an amazing ability to create beautiful works of art, while keeping an eye to practicality and functionality. Ginia has a BA in mass communication/photography and marketing.

Daphne is our native Oregonian, born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She joined the WAM team over 15 years ago and truly is our “anchor in the storm.” She is hardworking, dependable, conscientious, and a jack of all trades in our organization. Daphne is committed to our clients and somehow makes each individual feel unique and cared for on the phones and on-site at the conferences. Daphne is self-motivated, reliable and extremely hard working. She approaches each conference with tenacity and a determination to make it better than ever before. In Daphne’s first career, she worked in the legal field. She enjoys spending time with her family and vacationing at the Oregon Coast.
